“ Well , I’ve been asked this question many times. Initially when I was starting the setup back in 2015 , My bankers asked why I’m investing in an industry which is being dominated by corporates with immense financial backing. Then 5 years later , My relatives asked me if I valued my work over my life when we were dealing with the deadliest wave of covid. In 2021, the entire nursing home fraternity of Delhi was affected by some changes in government policies which would make small hospitals’ sustainability very challenging. And at this time, my colleagues asked me why I was thinking of going deeper into this industry.

The truth is that I moved to Delhi in 1996 when very few corporate hospitals existed. There were nursing homes, a few nameable big hospitals, and of course the government hospitals. Therefore, there was a severe shortage of hospital beds. Then, the era of healthcare changed in the next decade.

There was a drastic increase in the number of beds but till date, only a small fraction of our population can afford corporate hospitals , especially, critical care. ( ICU )
